# Data Merge - Table (Related) Grouped

1. See the below link for instructions to set up a basic merged data table.

2. Enable `Group` in the field you want to group the records by, and click `Finish`.\
   \*\*Set the relevant options for the other fields, then click `Confirm`.

3. The merged data field appears in the form `{{!label}}`.

   Just like the unfiltered table, you can see real data when you preview or generate a document using a real record.
