# Change Column Labels

You can change the column labels displayed in the Lookup Selector’s data table. **By default**, **the** **selected field’s label** is shown. However, you can override it by entering a custom value in the label input field. Additionally, by **clicking the icon(** <img src="/files/umcyEE5DL6ZO4iOFrI3R" alt="" data-size="line"> **)** next to the input field, you can[ **insert** **custom labels**](/smallbuilder-line-items/builder/inserting-custom-labels-into-editor-labels.md), which will display translated labels based on the user’s language settings.

If no custom label is set, the default field label is displayed and automatically translated according to the user’s language settings.
